Megan Ward Fans are asking … “Got Kate?”

Concerned when Megan Ward's airtime as Kate Howard was reduced and Kate seemed to disappear from the General Hospital canvas, loyal Kate/Megan supporters banded together, determined to support their favorite fashionista and the actress who portrays her so effortlessly. Since launching seven months ago, The Megan Haven message board (http://www.meganhaven.com) has gained upwards of 300 loyal members who have vigorously supported Megan in all of her endeavors. Now they’re kicking it up a notch as they prepare to launch their first official campaign.  


The Got Kate Campaign kicks off September 1, 2009, in a concerted effort by Megan’s fans to show continued support of her in her role on General Hospital. Through a series of mailings, Megan’s fans are set to remind the GH executives just what a talent they have in Megan and what a truly unique character they have in Kate. Megan Ward is an asset to the show, and there is limitless storyline potential for the character of Kate Howard. However, as Megan is no longer on contract, GH could lose one of the best new characters and most talented actresses to hit the daytime scene in years. This campaign aims to show the powers that be what the viewers already know – that when the show has “got Kate,” ratings will rise and the audience will return.
